1. Personal data

For the purposes of the DSGVO, personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person; an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, online identifier or one or more specific characteristics that are an expression of the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person. 2. Anonymous data / Log files

You can visit our website without having to collect any personal data. Every time you visit our website, however, certain anonymous data is stored, e.g. which page or which offer was accessed. However, this data is not personal and is therefore not subject to the legal regulations of the DSGVO or the BDSG.

The website operator or site provider collects data on access to the site and stores this as "server log files". The following data is logged in this way:

Visited website, time of access, amount of data sent in bytes, source/reference from which you reached the site, browser used, operating system used, IP address used.

The data collected is used only for statistical purposes and to improve the website. However, the website operator reserves the right to subsequently check the server log files if there are concrete indications of illegal use.

3. Purpose of the collection of personal data

However, the collection of personal data is imperative if you wish to book a trip or other service via our portal, contact us, subscribe to our newsletter or use other offers on our site for which personal data is indispensable. This includes voucher purchases as well as participation in competitions.

In accordance with the legal regulations and in the interests of data economy, we generally only collect data that is required for the provision of this particular service. If to the extent that we ask for further information in our forms, the information is always voluntary and marked as such.

The temporary storage of the IP address by the system is necessary to enable delivery of the website to the user's computer. For this purpose, the IP address of the user must remain stored for the duration of the session. In addition, it is stored in log files to ensure the functionality of the website. The data is also used to optimise the website and to ensure the security of our information technology systems. An evaluation of the data for marketing purposes does not take place in this context. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we will also store and use the personal and travel data you provide when making a booking on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO in order to provide you with the best possible service as a newsletter subscriber.

The legal basis for the processing of the user's data after registration for the newsletter is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO if the user has given his consent.

We also use personal data stored by us to maintain customer relations, to provide customer support (e.g. information on the course of your stay), to carry out our own advertising and marketing measures (e.g. the dispatch of catalogues, other advertising mailings to the extent permitted by law, queries on customer satisfaction) and to process orders.

4. Legal basis for the processing of personal data

As far as we can obtain the consent of the data subject for processing personal data, Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a EU Data Protection Basic Regulation (DSGVO) serves as the legal basis.

Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO serves as the legal basis for the processing of personal data required for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party. This also applies to processing operations that are necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures.

As far as the processing of personal data is necessary to fulfil a legal obligation to which our company is subject, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c DSGVO serves as the legal basis.

Art. 6 para. 1 lit. d DSGVO serves as a legal basis in the event that vital interests of the data subject or another natural person necessitate the processing of personal data.

If the processing is necessary to safeguard a legitimate interest of our company or a third party and if the interests, fundamental rights and fundamental freedoms of the data subject do not outweigh the first-mentioned interest, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO serves as the legal basis for the processing.

The data entered during registration will be used for the purpose of using the offer. Users may be informed by e-mail about information relevant to the offer or registration, such as changes in the scope of the offer or technical circumstances. The collected data can be seen in the input mask during registration. This includes name, e-mail address, company data (company name and type, address, company e-mail, Internet address, telephone, fax, function in the company), details of the desired contact language and currency.

5. Passing on personal data to third parties

Transferral of your personal data takes place exclusively within the relevant, in particular data protection and competition-juridical defaults.

6. Storage and removal of data

Your personal data will be stored within the scope of the purposes mentioned under "Purpose of the collection of personal data". The personal data of the person concerned will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies. In addition, the data may be stored if the European or national legislator has provided for this in Union regulations, laws or other provisions to which the person responsible is subject. The legislator has enacted various obligations and periods for the retention of data. 10. Right to information / Right of withdrawal; further rights of data subjects

You have the right:

  • to request information about your personal data processed by us in accordance with Art. 15 DSGVO. In particular, you may request information on the processing purposes, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data have been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right of rectification, deletion, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right of complaint, the origin of your data, unless it has been collected from us, as well as the existence of an automated decision-making process including profiling and, if applicable, meaningful information on its details;
